So most of you know I work at a movie theatre. I get the glamorous job of cleaning up after everyone has gone home for the night. I am always amazed at how many people are incapable of throwing their trash away. Seriously, it is not a hard thing to drop your popcorn bucket in a garbage can on your way out the door. I spent all of Saturday night flipping over the tables in the f0od court and scraping off all the gum that people stick to the bottoms of the tables. 4 hours and I didn't get all the tables clean. That is a lot of gum. I don't think I will ever be able to chew gum again. EVER! My back and wrists hurt like nothing else for the next two days.
I have decided to take advantage of of my job perks - free movies. I saw 3 yesterday and am planning on seeing one today. I took Ryan to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. He loves that movies. It is always so funny to listen to little kids react to 3D and watch them reach out to grab the objects flying at them. i also took Ally to see Hannah Montana. She LOVED it! I thought it was cute but predictable - very predictable. I think what annoys me about Hannah Montana and most of Disney's live action stuff is how badly they over-act! It would be a lot better if they could all just dial it down a bit. But the music was fun and Ally had a good time. Then David and I saw a movie called Fighting. I had never heard of it. It was also fairly predictable. Not great, but not bad. They kept the violence/graphicness (is that a word? it should be!) toned down. Our show started at 10:15 and when we got the tickets we were the only ones in the theatre so w sat in the back row. By the time the show started 4 other people came in to the theatre and they all sat on the back row as well! Why? they had the whole theatre to chose from and they all sat by us! Annoying and amusing at the same time. Would you sit that close to someone else if every other seat in the theatre was empty?
