David

Two days ago was May 20.  May 20 is a fun day for me to remember.  Besides it being my friend Sara's birthday, May 20 marks the second time I ever met my hubby.
Yup, having it be Sara's brithday is what helps me remember.
16 years ago we went on our first date.
Been a crazy ride since then!
Here to forever!
Love you!

Jump in where you are

I love the FlyLady.  Google her if you don't know who she is.  One of her many little tidbits of inspiration is the you are never behind!  Just jump in where you are.
I love that!
I need to remind myself of that everyday.
It does not matter that I did not finish what I started yesterday (a totally ADHD thing).
I can start fresh today.
One of my favorite books of all time is Anne of Green Gables.
You can never go wrong reading about a redhaired Canadian girl!
One of the life lessons that Anne learns early on is "Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it. "
It is a good thing.

So life is still as busy as ever.
There is only one and half more weeks of school for my kids.
I do not get time off from school for a summer break.
The summer movie season is starting so work is getting really busy again.
Citirine is getting booked for more and more performances (YAY!)
My in-laws just retired!
I get to go to girl's camp with the Young Women this year but am struggling to figure out which days to go because I have to work a lot.  Wish I could go the whole time.
I am slowly learning how to say no to every volunteer opportunity.  That is a hard one for me.  I like to help.
My sister Jen found out that she is having a girl in September!  Woo-hoo!  I have one niece on my side and one niece on David's side.  All the rest are boys!  I have 8 nephews.  So it will be awesome to have another little cutie girl.
I still need to paint and finish up Ally's room.  But I am going to wait until school is out for her.  She has a lot of crap in her room that I am going to make her clean up and throw out.
And yes, this list could go on and on and on......
but I won't bore you or overwhelm myself thinking about.  Just gonna jump in where I am.

So today I will be grateful that I have things to do.  I will attempt to be grateful that I have not been bored for over 15 years now.

From Crazy to ?????

When the pace of your life is crazy, and you add mor to it, what does it become??

I have not had time to breathe, let alone blog in what feels like forever.

Since my last post.....
Cole turned 14!  I do not know how I got old enough to have a 14 year old daughter, that is just not possible!  Wasn't it just yesterday that we borught home a tiny (I mean tiny, 5 pounds when she came home) baby girl?
Now, she is growing up way to fast!

And she is way too beautiful!

Ryan started soccer.  There is nothing funnier than watching 6 and 7year olds run around a soccer field.

I love watching Ryan run!  It so cute watching his arms go way up like this.
He is #6 on the grey team.  They named themselves the SILVERHAWKS!
Dad, D.J., Cole, and Grandma watching his first game.
Gotta love the views in this valley.

I also had my first performance with Citrine.  It was so much fun!  I forgot how much I love perfomring.
That is me on the right of the wood beam.
We have a several shows coming up this summer.   I will let you know when.

I also just finished a huge class!  It has been been my longest class so far - 8 weeks - of big projects.  The end result was an integrated literacy unit that ended up being 45 pages long for me!  UGH!
I am glad I survived.  That class was a great class, I learned a lot, but I am also glad it is over.
I considered taking a break because I am really starting to feel a bit burned out, but it is more important to finish.  I am still on track to finish next year.
